United Autosports Head to Zandvoort for British and European Rounds

Wednesday 4th September 2013

United Autosports make their way to Zandvoort, Holland this weekend (6th-8th September) for the Avon Tyres British GT Championship and the European Supercar Challenge Championship. Title contenders in both championships, the team are hoping for a successful weekend at the fast paced Dutch circuit.

Heading into the only overseas round of the championship, British GT challengers, Mark Patterson and Matt Bell are only 16 points behind the leaders in their Audi R8 LMS ultra, after coming 6th at the last round fake cartier blue ballon at Brands Hatch.

Father and son team, Jim and Glynn Geddie are only 13 points behind the leaders of the European Supercar Challenge Championship in their McLaren MP4-12C, after two DNFs in Assen knocked them off the top spot. They are confident a return to form will have them back in the lead of the championship come the end of the weekend.

Zandvoort brings the British GT season to its penultimate round, while the European Supercar Challenge Championship still has two more rounds remaining.

Richard Dean, Managing Director and Co-Owner, United Autosports
“We are really looking forward to heading to Zandvoort. It will be a busy weekend with running in two championships, but we are hoping for great results for both our championship contenders. Both cars have been running really well all season so we don’t see any reason for that to change now.”
